CREST OF STILLNESS - BRANDYWINE, WHISTLER
“Crest of Stillness” – A Pause in the Playground
The mountains of British Columbia hold a power that’s hard to describe — especially for those who’ve felt it firsthand. Among them, the Brandywine snowmobile access zone just outside of Whistler stands as a kind of sacred ground for backcountry snowboarders. It’s more than just terrain; it’s legacy.
For over well over three decades, Brandywine has been a proving ground — a playground and a canvas. It’s where some of the most iconic snowboard films have been shot, from early 2000s video parts to modern masterpieces. Riders from all over the world have come here to leave their mark — building jumps, carving spines, and capturing moments that shaped snowboarding culture forever.
Crest of Stillness was captured toward the end of a long March day in 2025 — the kind that leaves your body spent but your spirit buzzing. Jeremy, along with longtime friends and fellow mountain creatives Mat Galina and Shaun Belmore — both of When in Whistler web-series fame — had been out doubling and tripling on sleds, chasing lines, sharing laughs, and revisiting that youthful love of the backcountry.
As the sun dropped and the clouds began to quietly roll in, everything slowed. The rush gave way to reflection. And right there — perched on the edge of a silent moment — this image came to life. A single frame that holds the power, history, and serenity of a place that means so much to so many.
At Olliepop we believe in keeping moments magical, with this in mind all photographic prints are limited to 100 pieces.
Please note all Natural Timber frames come at a slight premium cost due to sustainable sourcing of quality materials.
